I'm glad that I'm the fist to say that you have a cute nephew. Welcome back to the cyber world. How was your trip?

ok, first, not fist. Damn tired eyes :)

Hi Monique,

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for the 'welcome back' shout out.

I wouldn't call my adventure in Nowhere, Indiana a "trip" but -- all things equal -- it was OK. But, it reminded me that I really need a vacation...

Now, get some rest young lady...

Awwww! He's SOOOO cute! Sorta looks like you! You've got the same big nose :)

By the way, you're brother's sorta cute. ;)

LOL @ Cyn! It's funny. Landon actually looks like my sister (in the picture). They've got the same flat nose. I got my wide nose from my mom. They got the flat nose from my dad.

By the way, my brother's just about married (though he won't admit it), so he's unofficially off the market. :)

He is gorgeous!! Almost makes me want another one....BUT....I'll wait for the grand babies or borrow one every now and then to get my "Mama" fix, LOL. :-)

Hmmm.....UNCLE ANDRE...it does have a special ring to it, doesn't it? "Uncle Andre, will you buy me__________?" Yep, I can see the wallet heating up now, LOL. ;-)

Andre said...

I can see it now: Momma Di. Or, how about Big Momma? Or Nanna?

You're absolutely right, Di. I can feel a hole burning in wallet right now...

Believe it or not, Andre, back in the late 70's during the heyday of CB radios, my "handle" was Big Mama...I was about 16 at the time, hee hee. ;-)

And I've been called Nanna, Aunt Danner, Di-nan and several other names by the nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. As long as it's said with love and affection, it doesn't really matter to me what they call me. :-)

Hey Andre,
VERY cute baby. Congrats yet one more time!

Andre,

I have never seen you (in person) so I have no idea who you think that I am.

Do you think that I'm this Bobby person that you called me before? Unless Bobby lives in my house in Idaho, they're not me!

Back to the post: CUTE KID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andre,

I'm boycotting the Landon name. We're calling him Donovan. Don't forget! Donovan.

Andre said...

@ yasser: Thanks! I'm excited for being a first-timer. This should make for an interesting ride...

@ HC: Thanks again!

@ Not a republican: I'll always have my theories on who you are (Uh...ok...you live in "Idaho"...). But, given the anonymity that is the Internet, I guess I'll never know the person behind the comment.

Be that as it may, thanks for your comments.

@ ajbendaƱa: Unless I want the kid to live a life of misery, he'll have NOTHING TO DO with the Heat. Interestingly, he lives in Orlando. I wonder if he'll be a Magic fan...

Friends don't let friends support the Heat.

@ Kim; Whatever man. I like "Landon". It's the Donovan part that annoys me.

Hey Greeny,

Welcome back. You've gotta tell me about your cabin trip for the holiday.

At any rate, thanks for the incredibly kind words and encouragement. I'm excited about the idea of being an uncle and happy for my brother and his girlfriend (awww hell! I think it's safe to call her my sister-in-law now!).

You're too lovely for words!

What's wrong with living in Idaho? I'm sure that it's better than Flint!

Andre said...

@ Not a republican: I assure you: I'm not downing Idaho. It's just that -- as I said before -- I have theories about who you are. None of my theories point to Idaho.

But, you're correct on one thing: any place is better than Flint, Michigan.
