Irreconcible differences
University of Michigan - 32
Appalachian State - 34
Yep. You read that correctly. The University of Michigan Wolverines; ranked #5 in the Associated Press poll were just beaten by Division I AA (or AAA; I dunno. Who cares...) Appalachian State; at home of all places.
I'm sorry U of M, but I don't think that my marriage with your football team is working out. Lord knows I tried to support them after continously losing to Ohio State and then the subsequent bowl games. But I can only take so much abuse. I think I'm officially done with this.
Aldo, is it too late to jump on Florida's bandwagon?

Dude, I told you to dump Michigan when I did. Granted it was for Northwestern and UCLA; but at least the Bruins still have a chance to do some things this year.
Here's to the Maize and Ewwww! LOL!
J, did you really haveta go there today?!
Hater.
Don't give up Andre. Mark my words, the Wolverines will not lose another game this season. This was just the wake up call they needed to stop being so freakin' lazy. This is going to be a great year *Kim tries to convince self*
I don't know what to tell you dawg. But I guess that admission is the first step.
Appalachian State. LMAO!
One more time: Appalachian State.
LMAO!
OK, last time. For effect:
Appalachian State. LMAO!
i hate football. however, i do sympathize with your team losing.
@ J: I wouldn't be suprised if NU wounds up with just as good a record as U of M. I could care less about UCLA anymore. They served their purpose last year beating USC. So good it did US...
@ Kim: No matter what happens the rest of the season, we'll still going down in the history books for all the WRONG reasons. Sigh...
@ KC: Hater. Hater. Hater.
@ Heiress: I love you, Sylv. But your attempts at optimism need consderable work. LOL!
I'm sorry to say I don't follow sports that much, but I send you and the University of Michigan my condolensces. :(
Hey Dre,
Another case of overconfidence. Or, maybe it's because Lloyd is planning to retire anyway and all his assistants just signed two-year contracts. Hmmm
This is what being a fan is all about. Through thick and thin man. On a brighter note. Mike Hart is just plain sick with it. Mario Manningham is not to far behind. Henne needs to settle down quite a bit. I think Kim may have a point there about the wake up call, just don't know about the not losing another aspect.
Good luck in the Meineke Car Care Bowl buddy.
@ Cyn: Thanks. I think.
@ Hippie: If the dude wants to retire, he should retire. He shouldn't dump my Wolverines' season in the process. Sheesh.
@ Aldo: Dude, even if UM is able to run the table for the rest of the season, the haters (Mark Mays, most of all) will write us off. I mean, Florida and USC could lose two, MAYBE three games in the SEC/PAC 10 respectively and still get the nod over a one loss Michigan squad. I'm a-Maized at how many people hate Michigan. For them, the Appy game had to be some type of vindication.
But hey, you're right: there's always the Meineke Car Care Bowl. But I was hoping for at least the Blockbuster bowl. I mean, don't the winners get free rentals for a month?
LOL what, you don't want my sympathy? or was it the "i hate football" part?
Alls I gots to say is: Go GATORS!
Ok, ok... in all seriousness, I'm sorry you had to experience that. If you do decide to become a Gators fan, though, I'll be ready, with orange and blue paint in hand.
@ Mari: "If you do decide to become a Gators fan, though, I'll be ready, with orange and blue paint in hand."
That'll work for me. Good lookin' out. This Maize and Blue paint started to burn my skin.
